3/8/16 Don’t Be A Puppet

The FBI has a new website called “Don’t Be a Puppet.” It’s an effort to dissuade people from joining extremist groups.

International groups listed include ISIS, Al Qaeda, and Hizballah.  It gets really interesting where it lists domestic groups committing violence.
These include anarchists, animal rights supporters, pro-lifers and others. It was an anarchist that assassinated President William McKinley in 1901.  I can’t remember any other violent events in America committed by anarchists.

Not listed? Islamic extremists. Apparently, the FBI doesn’t know about the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, 9/11, or Iyman Faris, who planned to blow-up the Brooklyn Bridge.  Nor does the FBI know of Nidal Hasan, the Muslim who shouted “Allahu Akbar” before killing 13 at Fort Hood. The FBI also overlooked the Tsarnaev brothers, who carried out the Boston Marathon bombing. And it missed the Islamic extremists who slaughtered 14 in San Bernardino.

This follows the FBI’s National Threat Assessment for Domestic Extremism which didn’t mention violent Islam either.  The Department of Homeland Security also ignored Islamic extremists in a similar threat document.   Instead, DHS warned of a terror threat posed by supporters of the Second Amendment.

A DHS-funded law enforcement office recently issued a bulletin warning who might be a violent extremist.  It includes anyone who displays the “Don’t Tread on Me” flag.

Like DHS, the FBI has become another deeply partisan group demonizing innocent Americans while practicing political correctness.

[Ignoring the role of Islamic extremism in violent acts starts at the top of he government food chain.  In condemning the Paris terror attacks, President Barack Obama refused to identify the attackers as Muslim, Islamic or as jihadists.  Secretary of State John Kerry likewise refused to identify the perpetrators.]
