A 45-year old man, who calls himself Colleen Francis  but has all of his original manufacturer’s parts. One-day declared himself a woman.

According to a police report, he would sit in the “€œwomen’€™s locker room naked and displaying male genitalia”€ at Olympia, Washington’€™s Evergreen State College.  Where girls as young as six could see him.  The college lectured horrified parents. Francis was permitted women’s locker room privileges in accordance with transgender non-discrimination policies.

On the other coast, Rutgers University offers a class on pop singer Beyoncé.

And in Los Angeles, Occidental College has a class titled “Stupidity.”  The course description says the class proves “[s]tupidity is neither ignorance nor organicity [sic], but rather, a corollary of knowing and an element of normalcy, the double of intelligence rather than its opposite.”

In other words, gibberish.

[Other questionable college course offerings include:

— Ohio’s Oberlin College: “Queering the Reel” (RHET 104) – Examining sexual orientation and gender in film.

— Yale: “Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves” (PLSC 154) – Study of “groups who have shown to live outside, or on the margins of, society” including hoboes and 18th century pirates.

— Harvard: “Akkadian Language and Literature” (AKKAD 300) — Study of the extinct Akkadian language that died-out more than 2,100 years ago.

— Columbia: “Transnational Transgender Social Formation” (W3918)
— Merely one course offering among the university’s vast human rights curricula.]

Put aside for a moment, that Washington’s frightening proposal to monitor newsrooms to ensure they churn out government approved news runs afoul of that pesky and bothersome First Amendment.

The feds gave nearly two million dollars to the universities of Southern California and Wisconsin to draft what should be acceptable news content.

A naked man flashing the family jewels in the girls’™ locker room.  Pop star classes.  And a course on stupidity — that’s just plain stupid — underscore that academia is where people escape from reality.

On top of it, both colleges’ journalism programs received millions from George Soros, who promotes his own strange ideas regarding news.
